CULTURE

CASA: These materials expose the children to areas such as geography, history, botony and zoology. Students will discover maps of the world, understand seasons, date and time, and learn the various external parts of plants and animals.

TODDLER: Materials will be presented to the children to introduce the world around them, such as the seasons, animals, the elements (earth, water, air) and Canada. These lessons will lay the formative groundwork for future educational lessons about our culture and world. Music and Art are explored through a variety of methods and resources. The children will exert their creativity daily, during songs, dramatic play and artistry. French instruction will be given to the children each day for 15 min. This develops a strong foundation for continued language use in the elementary years.
