LANGUAGE

CASA: These lessons aid in the progression of oral language skills, reading and writing skills. Children begin by learning the phonetic sounds of the alphabet, reading phonetically and moving on to phonograms, sight words and eventually broadening their skills to read various content. These skills assist the child in comprehensive language activities, which will be introduced when, he/she shows a readiness in development. During this time, written language skills will also be taught and developed through various materials. Our goal is to have the student decipher and enunciate speech.

TODDLER: Academic lessons are taught each day by use of materials such as word cards, objects, songs, books and dramatic play. Children will learn the fundamentals of language throughout the day as they interact with their teachers and peers. We boast a bountiful vocabulary environment.
