PRACTICAL LIFE

CASA: The essential foundation for success in all areas of the Montessori curriculum. Each material is purposefully designed to develop a sense of concentration and coordination of movement. The child gains the freedom to work with the materials with confidence and independence. This area of study covers Care of Self, Care of the Environment, Grace and Courtesy.

TODDLER: These activities are designed to help the toddler gain a sense of independence and self-confidence. Everyday tasks such as using utensils, buttoning or zippering, sweeping, and tidying develop order, responsibility, movement and coordination.
